I use to work with this kid when he lived in San Francisco. Such a shame, he was one of the few kids that would stay on task and was well-liked by all of his caretakers. I could usually count on this guy to help around the house when the other kids were going bonkers and most times he would just laugh off their outlandish behaviors even though it would have been easy for him to join in the ruckus. But deep down "D" had a sadness inside that we just couldn't help ease and most of his acting out, though far less frequently than the other kids, stemmed from his loss of family. Little dude just wanted to be loved...

After following and following and the hours i have read and researched the case.... His story by far to me is the most tragic out of all the people that are involved. I shouldnt say this but I cant refrain.... his mother has so much to do with the turn out of this boys life. I mean really Mrs. Dixon you just couldnt leave the criminal life alone in order to be a mother and raise you child. Look where you have helped him lead his life. Never once a role model in this boys life and I hope you take near 100% reponsibilty for him and his actions. He could have had such a future and you did nothing but help detroy it. How many times did you go to hail, for the same thing. Did you yourself think that you were invincible? My god woman.

But I commend Mr. Calloway, you tried. You wanted him to have a chance at life and the fighting that you did for him was heroic...and Ms. Dixon shame on you for so many reasons.
